New York:South Korea's Foreign Minister Cho Hyun and Congolese Foreign Minister Constant Serge Bounda met in New York to explore enhancing cooperation in energy and other economic sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the talks took place during the high-level segment of the 81st U.N. General Assembly. The discussions focused on the strong potential for expanding economic collaboration, particularly in energy, due to the complementary nature of bilateral trade.

Both ministers agreed to strengthen ties in various fields, including development cooperation and the protection of their nationals abroad. They also discussed collaborating in international forums, aiming to bolster their partnership.
