Seoul:South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and U.S. President Donald Trump engaged in summit talks on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, addressing several important issues.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 30-minute meeting covered topics such as South Korea's interest in nuclear-powered submarines, the rights to enrich uranium and reprocess spent nuclear fuel, and the transfer of wartime operational control of Korean troops from the U.S. to South Korea. The leaders also discussed cooperation in the shipbuilding sector.

During the talks, President Trump reaffirmed his commitment to dialogue with North Korea. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with progress in strategic projects between their countries.
