South Korean Bond Yields Experience Slight Increases Across All Maturities

Seoul: Bond yields in South Korea saw a slight uptick across various maturities on the morning of September 15, 2026. The 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield rose to 3.593%, marking a 2 basis point increase from the previous session's 3.573%. Similarly, the yield on the 2-year TB climbed by 3.3 basis points to 3.965%, up from 3.932%.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 3-year Treasury Bond yield increased by 2.6 basis points, reaching 4.051% compared to the previous session's 4.025%. The 10-year Treasury Bond yield also showed a minor rise, going up by 1.6 basis points to 4.552% from 4.536%.

In the monetary stabilization bond (MSB) market, the yield for the 2-year MSB recorded an increment of 2.8 basis points, moving from 3.923% to 3.951%. The 3-year corporate bond (CB) with an AA- rating experienced a 2.5 basis point increase, reaching 4.715% from 4.690%.
