Seoul:Prime Minister Han Seong-sook highlighted the power of culture in addressing global challenges during a speech on National Foundation Day.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Han emphasized the importance of culture in fostering empathy and solidarity, urging collaboration in sharing experiences, technologies, and cultural capabilities to tackle common human challenges. She linked this approach to the founding spirit of Gojoseon, Korea's first kingdom, which advocates for the broad benefit of humanity.

Han also committed to advancing the government's plan to establish an "AI-basic society," ensuring that this technological transition is inclusive and does not leave anyone isolated. The Lee Jae Myung administration aims to make AI services accessible to everyone, regardless of income, age, or digital literacy level, as part of its policy agenda.

In addition, Han stated that the government is focused on enhancing people's livelihoods by promoting housing stability, job creation, and expanding financial support for ordinary citizens, ensuring that the public can experience tangible benefits in their everyday lives.
