KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance as Key Stocks Show Diverse Trends

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a varied performance with several notable shifts in stock prices. Among the companies, Samsung Electronics saw a significant increase, with shares rising by 800 to reach 69,700. Another substantial gain was observed in Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., which climbed by 3,700, closing at 193,700. Meanwhile, LS Electric experienced a notable jump of 11,000, closing at 303,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other stocks also showed positive movements. KPIC surged with an increase of 1,200, closing at 100,500. OTOKI and SamsungElecMech both rose significantly, with each gaining 7,000 to close at 398,500 and 150,300, respectively. Youngone Holdings increased by 3,800, finishing at 135,800, while OCI Holdings went up by 3,200 to close at 96,800.

On the downside, some companies faced declines. HDKSOE experienced a reduction of 5,500, closing at 337,500. Kumho Petrochemical saw a decrease of 3,300, ending at 112,600. S-Oil also faced a decline, dropping by 600 to 59,700. Meanwhile, Doosan's shares decreased by 4,000, closing at 573,000.

Additional stocks showed lower declines and gains. Hanwha Vision fell by 1,000, closing at 58,200, while Hanmi Science also saw a decrease of 1,000 to 44,300. Conversely, DB Insurance rose by 400, reaching 122,900, and NHIS increased by 420 to close at 19,080.
