KORIBOR Rates Show Slight Increases Across All Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) experienced slight increases across all terms, according to the latest data released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information service of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today. The rates, which are essential for lending and borrowing activities among banks in Korea, were updated to reflect current economic conditions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR saw a rise to 2.81% from 2.75% in the previous session. Similarly, the 1-month rate increased to 2.93% from 2.88%. The 2-month KORIBOR also went up to 3.03% from 2.99%, while the 3-month rate slightly moved to 3.10% from 3.09%.

Furthermore, the longer-term rates displayed similar upward trends. The 6-month KORIBOR rose to 3.40% from 3.39%, and the 12-month rate edged higher to 3.74% from 3.73%. These incremental changes in the rates indicate adjustments in the financial market's expectations and liquidity conditions.
