KOSPI 200 Sees Varied Movements with Significant Changes in Select Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a variety of shifts in closing prices, with notable gains and losses among key stocks. HD Hyundai Electric led the gains, closing at 821,000, marking an increase of 88,000. Meanwhile, SD Biosensor saw a decrease, closing at 6,040, down by 290.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several other companies on the KOSPI 200 experienced significant price movements. HD CE showed a modest increase to 140,600, up by 800, while Meritz Financial climbed to 119,000, an increase of 1,000. On the other hand, DoubleUGames and KRAFTON faced declines, with DoubleUGames dropping by 1,700 to 57,200 and KRAFTON falling by 8,500 to 219,500.

In the financial sector, BNK Financial Group rose slightly to 14,970, an increase of 90, and iM Financial Group also saw a rise, closing at 17,710, up by 90. However, Hankook Tire and Technology experienced a notable drop, closing at 65,600, down by 2,700.

The market also saw some mixed results in other sectors. Hanwha Systems experienced a gain, closing at 77,900, up by 4,500, while emart and HyundaiAutoever both faced declines, with emart dropping by 1,100 to 74,000 and HyundaiAutoever decreasing by 1,000 to 413,500.

Additionally, companies such as SKSQUARE and ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL reported gains, with SKSQUARE rising by 10,000 to 1,068,000 and ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL increasing by 3,300 to 66,700. Conversely, d'Alba Global and ORION saw decreases, with d'Alba Global dropping by 9,000 to 222,500 and ORION falling by 2,800 to 126,200.
