Seoul:Kim Yo-jong, the influential sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, has once again denied any responsibility for the recent explosion caused by land mines within the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim Yo-jong's statement was released through the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), where she refuted the South Korean military's claims holding North Korea accountable for the incident.
In response, South Korea's military has called on Pyongyang to issue an apology and halt its border fortification efforts. Kim Yo-jong described these findings as "groundless," asserting that the border fortification aims to permanently close off South Korea.
President Lee Jae Myung has vowed to explore practical solutions to decrease military tensions with North Korea, despite Kim Yo-jong's dismissal of Seoul's demand for an apology as a "clown show."
