Seoul:Personal information from 89 Hana Bank customers has been compromised in a recent data breach. This incident is part of a series of data leaks impacting financial insti tutions in the region.
According to Yonhap News Agency, The leaked data includes sensitive details such as resident registration numbers, names, addresses, and phone numbers. Hana Bank identified an external hacking agent as the cause, which accessed the bank's "outdoor sales system."
In related developments, KB Kookmin Bank also faced a similar breach, with over 100 customers' personal data stolen through hacking. Furthermore, Shinhan Bank disclosed that personal information of approximately 25,000 customers, including details like annual income, names, and phone numbers, was leaked.
