Seoul: A special counsel team was unable to execute a detention warrant for the jailed former President Yoon Suk Yeol on Friday after he consistently ignored summonses.
According to Yonhap News Agency, special counsel Min Joong-ki's team attempted to bring Yoon in for questioning from the Seoul Detention Center in Uiwang, located just south of Seoul. However, the effort was unsuccessful due to the former president's "adamant refusal."
