Angeles: A South Korean national visiting the Philippines has been fatally shot by a robber in the city of Angeles, according to officials Monday. The unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when the tourist was attacked by an assailant on a motorcycle. During the altercation, the tourist was shot while resisting the robbery attempt. Despite being transported to a hospital, the individual was later pronounced dead.

According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korea’s foreign ministry has called for a prompt and thorough investigation into the incident by local police authorities. The ministry emphasized the need for swift action to bring the perpetrator to justice and ensure the safety of other tourists in the region.
