SEOUL: South Korean bond yields saw a slight decline across various tenures on November 19, 2024, as indicated by the latest financial data. The yield on the 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) decreased by 0.4 basis points to 2.890% from the previous session's 2.894%. The 2-year TB yield fell by 1.5 basis points to 2.946%, while the 3-year TB yield saw a more significant decrease of 2.6 basis points, settling at 2.889%. The 10-year TB yield also dropped by 2.7 basis points, bringing it down to 3.036%. According to Yonhap News Agency, similar downward trends were observed in other financial instruments. The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield declined by 2.0 basis points, closing at 2.941% compared to the previous session's 2.961%. Meanwhile, the 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) with a rating of AA- witnessed a decrease of 2.5 basis points, ending at 3.457%. The 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) yield remained unchanged at 3.440%, reflecting stability in short-term deposit instruments.
