Seoul: South Korea is expected to experience a mix of sleet and rain across its major cities on Monday, with varying temperatures and a significant chance of precipitation. The weather forecast for 12 major cities indicates a wet start to the week, affecting both northern and southern regions of the country.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul is set to experience sleet with temperatures ranging from a high of 10°C to a low of 4°C, and a 70% chance of precipitation. Incheon and Suwon will also see rain with similar chances of precipitation and slightly cooler temperatures.
Further south, Cheongju and Daejeon are forecasted to encounter sleet, both sharing a 60% chance of rain with high temperatures reaching 11°C. Chuncheon is expected to have the highest chance of sleet at 80%, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 2°C.
Gangneung will see rain with an 80% possibility, while Jeonju and Gwangju are both predicted to have rain with a 60% chance and slightly warmer temperatures. Jeju will remain sunny despite a 70% chance of rain, with temperatures considerably warmer at a high of 16°C.
In the southeastern cities, Daegu is forecasted to experience rain with a high of 14°C, and Busan will see similar rainy conditions with a high of 15°C. Both cities have a 60% chance of precipitation, indicating a rainy day for residents.
