Seoul: LG Innotek Co., an electronic component manufacturing unit of LG Group, reported a net loss of 8.7 billion won (US$6.3 million) for the second quarter, a significant downturn from a profit of 98.9 billion won in the same period a year earlier.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the quarter was 11.4 billion won, a decrease from 151.7 billion won the previous year. Additionally, LG Innotek's revenue declined by 13.6 percent, totaling 3.93 trillion won for the quarter.
