Seoul: KT and G Corp., South Korea's leading tobacco maker, announced on Thursday a net profit of 1.09 trillion won (approximately US$745.9 million) for the year 2025, marking a 6.1 percent decline compared to the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, despite the decrease in net income, KT and G reported an operating income of 1.34 trillion won for the same period, representing a 13.5 percent increase year-on-year. The company's annual revenue also experienced growth, rising 11.4 percent to reach 6.57 trillion won.
