Seoul: Thursday's closing prices on the Korea Stock Exchange for KOSPI 200 stocks highlighted a day of mixed performance across various sectors, with notable fluctuations in stock values.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SamyangFood saw a decrease, closing at 1,273,000 KRW, down 43,000 KRW. POSCO INTERNATIONAL experienced an upswing, closing at 79,500 KRW, an increase of 3,800 KRW. CJ CheilJedang remained unchanged at 220,000 KRW. Daewoong and HANKOOK and COMPANY reported losses, closing at 22,800 KRW and 23,450 KRW, down by 2,000 KRW and 1,350 KRW, respectively.

DL and KIA CORP. also faced declines, with DL closing at 56,900 KRW, a drop of 5,800 KRW, and KIA CORP. at 150,600 KRW, down 4,700 KRW. Other companies such as Taihan Cable and Solution, Youngpoong, and Daesang registered decreases, closing at 28,650 KRW, 56,900 KRW, and 19,380 KRW, respectively.

Hyundai MandF INS and MiwonComcl recorded significant drops, closing at 30,000 KRW and 131,100 KRW, down by 1,450 KRW and 5,100 KRW, respectively. AMOREPACIFIC Holdings and HyundaiMtr ended the day lower, closing at 27,650 KRW and 465,500 KRW, respectively.

KAL, LG Corp., and SamsungFandMIns saw declines, with closing prices at 23,200 KRW, 84,800 KRW, and 444,000 KRW, respectively. HANALL BIOPHARMA and Kogas also reported losses, closing at 54,400 KRW and 34,350 KRW, down by 4,100 KRW and 1,450 KRW, respectively.

CJ and Hanwha faced downturns, closing at 188,100 KRW and 110,900 KRW, respectively. HITEJINRO, Yuhan, and SLCORP also reported losses, closing at 16,600 KRW, 92,900 KRW, and 54,200 KRW, respectively.

CJ LOGISTICS and DongwonInd experienced declines, closing at 103,000 KRW and 37,500 KRW, respectively. NHIS and DB INSURANCE also saw decreases, closing at 29,750 KRW and 162,200 KRW, respectively.

SamsungElec and ASIA HOLDINGS faced significant drops, closing at 178,400 KRW and 272,000 KRW, respectively. ORION Holdings and HYUNDAI STEEL also saw declines, closing at 24,050 KRW and 33,450 KRW, respectively.

POSCO FUTURE M managed a gain, closing at 213,000 KRW, up 1,500 KRW. However, LOTTE Fine Chem, GCH Corp, and LOTTE experienced declines, closing at 46,750 KRW, 13,530 KRW, and 27,200 KRW, respectively.

LotteChilsung, COSMOCHEM, and POSCO Holdings also saw decreases, closing at 112,600 KRW, 15,340 KRW, and 341,000 KRW, respectively. Nongshim ended the day at 367,000 KRW, down 12,500 KRW.
