Seoul:The KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange displayed a range of movements, with significant gains and losses noted at Tuesday's close.
According to Yonhap News Agency, notable gains were observed in several companies. Doosan saw the largest increase, with its stock rising by 127,000 KRW to close at 1,468,000 KRW. POSCO FUTURE M also experienced a substantial increase, closing up by 17,600 KRW at 204,500 KRW. Other companies, such as TaekwangInd and KCC, reported gains of 26,000 KRW and 6,000 KRW, respectively.
Several stocks experienced declines. SK hynix faced the most significant drop, with its value decreasing by 68,000 KRW to end at 1,773,000 KRW. Nongshim and Shinsegae also saw notable losses, with their stocks falling by 8,000 KRW and 5,500 KRW, respectively. Other companies like SeAH Steel Holdings and Hanwha recorded declines of 2,800 KRW and 2,400 KRW, respectively.
Overall, the closing prices highlight the volatility and varying performance levels among different sectors within the KOSPI 200 index.
