Seoul: Celltrion Inc., a major South Korean biopharmaceutical company, has reported an estimated third-quarter operating profit of 301 billion won (US$211.9 million), marking a 44.9 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's sales also saw growth, rising by 16.3 percent to reach 1.02 trillion won. However, data regarding net earnings for the quarter was not available at the time of the report. Celltrion has announced that it will release its final earnings report at a later date.
