According to Yonhap News Agency, Trump extended the job offer to Congressman Waltz, a seasoned Green Beret veteran with service history in Afghanistan, the Middle East, and Africa, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. The report cites unnamed sources familiar with the situation. The appointment of Waltz as the White House national security adviser is being closely monitored by U.S. allies and partners, who are eager to understand how Trump's administration will address foreign policy and security challenges on both regional and global fronts.
