A taxi overturned and burst into flames in the middle of Rama 9 Road. A conscious female passenger kicked the door open to save herself and five other people from the vehicle in time. However, one of them, the taxi driver, was seriously injured. Police are investigating the cause.

Police from Huamark Police Station, along with firefighters and volunteers from the Siam Ruam Jai Poo In Foundation, went to quell the incident. They found a taxi overturned in the middle of the road on fire. Five passengers were able to struggle out of the car, one of whom was seriously injured, the taxi driver. Officers provided first aid before taking him to Samitivej Hospital. In addition, the traffic lane was closed to move the burning car and clean the road.
It was reported that after the incident, a female passenger in the car was conscious an
d kicked the car door to save herself and others. Among them, there was one child who was not badly injured but was in shock. The driver was seriously injured and was sent to the ICU. As for the cause, officials believe that it was unlikely to be due to the gas tank exploding because if that were the case, everyone in the car would have died. They will urgently investigate those involved and inspect the condition of the car to find the cause.
