Stray Kids Releases Fourth Studio Album ‘Karma’ to Celebrate Milestones with Fans

Seoul:<Text>

K-pop sensation Stray Kids dropped its fourth full-length album, "Karma," on Friday, a project it says reflects on the achievements it has made through years of hard work. Speaking at a press conference in Seoul, rapper Changbin emphasized the album's theme of interpreting 'karma' positively, as the culmination of the group's efforts alongside their fans, known as Stay.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the album comprises 11 tracks, including the lead single "Ceremony," produced by the group's in-house team, 3Racha. The music video for "Ceremony" integrates a sports concept, symbolizing the members' dedication to their roles and their collective pursuit of goals. Singer Seungmin likened the concept to various sports, including baseball and relay races, as well as a high jump representing overcoming obstacles.

The release of "Karma" follows the group's extensive "dominATE" world tour, which featured 54 shows in 34 cities, marking Stray Kids as the first K-pop act to perform at 13 major stadiums worldwide. Reflecting on the tour, dancer Hyunjin expressed his gratitude towards their fan base, Stay, and the motivation they provided during the group's stadium performances.

Debuting in March 2018, the eight-member group renewed its contracts with JYP Entertainment last year. Rapper Han compared their growth to a tree with deep roots, highlighting the supportive bond among the members despite experiencing various challenges. His sentiments were echoed with a light-hearted gesture, expressing love and camaraderie among the group.

Team leader Bang Chan articulated the group's aspirations for the new album, noting that while achieving significant results would be appreciated, their primary aim is to showcase their musicality and distinct style to a global audience.
