Seoul: The weather forecast for South Korea's major cities on Monday indicates a mix of sleet and sunshine, with varying chances of rain.

According to Yonhap News Agency, temperatures in Seoul are expected to reach a high of 3°C and a low of -9°C, with sleet and a 60% chance of rain. Nearby Incheon will experience similar conditions with temperatures slightly higher at 5°C.

Suwon, Cheongju, and Daejeon will all enjoy sunny weather, with temperatures ranging from a high of 3°C to 5°C and lows between -9°C and -8°C. These cities also share a 60% possibility of rain. Chuncheon, however, will have the coldest temperatures, with a high of 0°C and a low of -14°C, though it will remain sunny with an 80% chance of rain.

In contrast, Gangneung and Busan will experience cloudy skies, with Gangneung seeing a high of 5°C and a low of -7°C, and Busan slightly warmer at 7°C and -4°C, with a possibility of rain at 30% and 20%, respectively.

In the southern regions, Jeonju and Gwangju are expected to be sunny with highs of 6°C and 7°C and lows of -5°C and -4°C, with a 20% chance of rain. Meanwhile, Jeju will be the warmest among the cities, with temperatures reaching 11°C and a low of 3°C, also with a 20% possibility of rain.

Daegu will enjoy sunny weather with highs of 6°C and lows of -8°C, and there is no expected chance of rain. Residents across these cities are advised to prepare for the forecasted conditions, particularly in areas expecting sleet.
