South Korean Bond Yields See Decline Across Multiple Terms

Seoul: South Korean bond yields have experienced a decline across multiple terms, with the exception of the 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD), which remained unchanged.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield decreased by 3.4 basis points, moving from 2.520% to 2.486%. The 2-year TB saw a drop of 4.8 basis points, bringing it down to 2.754% from the previous session's 2.802%. Similarly, the 3-year TB yield fell by 4.2 basis points, closing at 2.872% compared to the previous 2.914%.

The 10-year TB also experienced a decline, with its yield decreasing by 3.3 basis points to 3.268% from 3.301%. Meanwhile, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield decreased by 4.0 basis points, ending at 2.810% from 2.850%. The 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) with a rating of AA- saw its yield fall by 3.3 basis points, closing at 3.309% compared to the previous 3.342%.

The 91-day CD yield remained unchanged at 2.740%. The overall trend indicates a decrease in bond yields across various terms in the South Korean market.
