South Korean Bond Yields Experience Notable Increase.

Seoul: South Korean bond yields witnessed a notable increase in their trading sessions on November 13, 2024. The yield on the 1-year Treasury Bond rose to 2.875%, marking an increase of 2.0 basis points from the previous session's 2.855%. Similarly, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield climbed to 2.973%, up by 3.6 basis points from 2.937%. According to Yonhap News Agency, the 3-year Treasury Bond yield increased by 3.9 basis points, reaching 2.939% compared to the previous 2.900%. The 10-year Treasury Bond saw a rise of 5.3 basis points, with its yield moving up to 3.067% from 3.014%. In addition to the Treasury Bonds, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield experienced a gain of 3.5 basis points, reaching 2.979% from the prior 2.944%. The 3-year Corporate Bond with an AA- rating also saw its yield increase by 3.4 basis points, moving to 3.501% from 3.467%. Meanwhile, the yield on the 91-day Certificate of Deposit remained unchanged at 3.440% in this session.
