Seoul: South Korean bond yields saw an overall increase on May 12, 2026, with significant changes observed across various maturities. The 1-year Treasury Bond yield rose to 3.066% from the previous session's 3.022%, marking an increase of 4.4 basis points.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield increased by 6.2 basis points, reaching 3.547% from 3.485%. Similarly, the 3-year Treasury Bond yield climbed to 3.674%, up by 7.6 basis points from its previous rate of 3.598%.
The 10-year Treasury Bond yield recorded the largest rise, moving up by 10.6 basis points to 4.056% from 3.950%. In the monetary stabilization bond category, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield increased by 7.3 basis points to 3.569% from 3.496%.
For corporate bonds, the 3-year Corporate Bond rated AA- saw its yield rise by 6.6 basis points, reaching 4.311% from 4.245%. Meanwhile, the 91-day Certificate of Deposit yield remained unchanged at 2.810%.
