Seoul: Bond yields in South Korea saw changes across various maturities in the morning trading session on August 28, 2026. The yields on treasury bonds (TB) and monetary stabilization bonds (MSB) reflected upward shifts compared to the previous session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield increased to 3.417% from the previous 3.399%, marking a change of 1.8 basis points. The 2-year treasury bond yield rose to 3.668%, an increase of 3.6 basis points from the previous session's 3.632%. The 3-year treasury bond yield experienced a climb, reaching 3.787% from 3.755%, a change of 3.2 basis points.
The 10-year treasury bond yield showed a significant increase, reaching 4.298% compared to the prior 4.238%, resulting in a change of 6.0 basis points. Additionally, the 2-year monetary stabilization bond yield moved up to 3.711% from 3.669%, an increase of 4.2 basis points. The 3-year corporate bond (AA-) yield also experienced a rise, reaching 4.468% from the previous 4.448%, a change of 2.0 basis points.
