Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced slight declines across various tenures as reported on the morning of April 21, 2026. The bond yields for the 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) decreased by 0.2 basis points from the previous session, moving from 2.923% to 2.921%. Similarly, the 2-year TB saw a decline of 0.9 basis points, shifting from 3.219% to 3.210%.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 3-year TB also saw a decrease in yield, dropping by 1.1 basis points from 3.348% to 3.337%. The 10-year TB experienced the largest decline among the tenures, falling by 1.9 basis points from 3.688% to 3.669%.
In addition to Treasury Bonds, other financial instruments also reflected marginal decreases in yields. The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield decreased by 0.6 basis points, moving from 3.241% to 3.235%. The 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) rated AA- witnessed a decline of 0.9 basis points, decreasing from 4.016% to 4.007%.
