South Korean Bond Yields Experience Decline Across Various Terms

Seoul: South Korean bond yields saw a noticeable decline across several terms on June 9, 2026. The yields for 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year treasury bonds (TB), as well as 2-year monetary stabilization bonds (MSB), 3-year corporate bonds (CB) with an AA- rating, and 91-day certificates of deposit (CD), all reported drops from their previous session values.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year TB yield decreased by 1.4 basis points, moving from 3.263% to 3.249%. The 2-year TB yield fell by 8.8 basis points from 3.842% to 3.754%, while the 3-year TB yielded a decrease of 8.4 basis points, settling at 3.856% from 3.940%. The 10-year TB yield saw a reduction of 7.5 basis points, shifting from 4.348% to 4.273%.

Additionally, the yield on the 2-year MSB decreased by 8.0 basis points, dropping from 3.887% to 3.807%. The 3-year CB with an AA- rating declined by 7.3 basis points, from 4.565% to 4.492%. The 91-day CD yield experienced a slight decrease of 1.0 basis point, adjusting from 2.920% to 2.910%.
