South Korean Bond Yields Decline Across Various Terms

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced a decline across multiple terms on the morning of October 13, 2025. The yields on treasury bonds, including the 1-year, 2-year, 3-year, and 10-year notes, all saw a decrease compared to the previous session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield fell to 2.311%, down from the previous session's 2.318%, marking a change of 0.7 basis points. The 2-year treasury bond yield decreased by 1.3 basis points, settling at 2.511% from the previous rate of 2.524%.

The 3-year treasury bond yield saw a decline of 1.8 basis points, moving from 2.591% to 2.573%. Additionally, the yield on the 10-year treasury bond dropped by 3.2 basis points, from 2.964% to 2.932%.

The 2-year monetary stabilization bond also experienced a slight decline, with the yield moving from 2.509% to 2.501%, a change of 0.8 basis points. Similarly, the yield on the 3-year corporate bond (rated AA-) decreased by 1.5 basis points, from 3.026% to 3.011%.
