Seoul: The South Korean bond market experienced a varied movement in yields, with changes observed across different tenures as of November 18, 2024. According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond yield slightly increased to 2.894% from the previous session's 2.893%, registering a change of +0.1 basis points. Meanwhile, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield decreased by 1.5 basis points to 2.961%, down from 2.976%. The 3-year Treasury Bond yield also saw a decline, falling by 2.6 basis points to 2.915% from 2.941%. Additionally, the 10-year Treasury Bond yield dropped by 2.1 basis points to 3.063%, compared to the previous session's 3.084%. In the monetary stabilization bonds, the 2-year MSB rate decreased by 1.6 basis points, settling at 2.961% from the prior 2.977%. Corporate bonds also reflected changes, with the 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield decreasing by 2.4 basis points to 3.482%, down from 3.506%. Meanwhile, the yield on 91-day Certificates of Deposit remained unchanged at 3.440%.
