Toyota:South Korea claimed the silver medal in the women's 10-meter air pistol team event at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, marking their fourth shooting medal of the competition.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the team comprising Choo Ga-eun, Kim Bo-mi, and Oh Ye-jin achieved a combined score of 1,730 points. This score placed them five points behind the first-place China and 11 points ahead of Japan, at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery.

The team medals in shooting are determined by the total scores of the three athletes from each nation during their individual qualification rounds. Choo Ga-eun led the qualification round with a remarkable Asian Games record score of 582 points, securing her a spot among the eight finalists for the individual medals later that day.

However, teammates Kim Bo-mi and Oh Ye-jin did not advance to the finals, each scoring 574 points. The result was particularly disappointing for Oh Ye-jin, who is the 2024 Olympic champion and holds the Olympic record in this event, marking a challenging debut at the Asian Games.
