Nagoya:Lee Ha-sung earned a silver medal in wushu at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, marking his second career medal at this continental competition.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee scored 19.406 points in the men's daoshu and gunshu, securing the runner-up position behind Gao Xiaobin of China, who scored 19.582. Clement Su Wei Ting of Malaysia claimed the bronze with 19.403 points.

In the events of daoshu and gunshu, athletes were judged on a 10-point scoring system, covering quality of movements (5.00), overall performance (2.00), and degree of difficulty (2.00). Lee ranked second in daoshu with 9.706 points, trailing Gao by 0.080 points.

In the gunshu event, which involves a fast-paced routine with a staff, Lee achieved the fourth-best score of 9.700, while Gao led with 9.796.

Lee's achievement represents South Korea's second medal in wushu at this year's Asiad, following An Hyeon-gi's bronze in the men's taijiquan and taijijian event. Lee previously won a gold medal at the 2014 Asiad held in Incheon, South Korea.
