Seoul:Wednesday's closing prices for KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange showed a mix of gains and losses among major companies.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies experienced significant stock price movements. MiwonComcl's stock rose to 136,600 KRW, up by 400 KRW, while ASIA HOLDINGS saw an increase to 213,500 KRW, up by 1,500 KRW. Conversely, SeAH Steel Holdings fell to 101,000 KRW, a drop of 6,500 KRW, and SamyangFood decreased to 1,215,000 KRW, down by 37,000 KRW.

Other notable changes included KCC, which rose to 476,000 KRW, a gain of 8,500 KRW, and TaekwangInd, up by 8,000 KRW to 910,000 KRW. On the downside, HyundaiMtr dropped to 353,500 KRW, down by 7,000 KRW, and POSCO FUTURE M declined to 179,900 KRW, a decrease of 4,300 KRW.

Additional movements saw companies like CJ CheilJedang increasing to 175,800 KRW with a rise of 1,600 KRW and SamsungElec reaching 285,500 KRW, up by 9,000 KRW. However, Hyundai Steel fell to 31,950 KRW, down by 3,650 KRW, and LG Corp. dropped to 111,900 KRW, a decrease of 4,600 KRW.

Overall, the session reflected a varied performance across different sectors, with some stocks experiencing significant upward momentum while others saw declines.
