However, despite the stalemate, the overall performance in the third round of qualifiers presents several positives. The team managed an impressive winning streak with four conse cutive victories following their initial draw against Palestine, outscoring opponents 11-4 during that period. Young talents have emerged as key contributors in the team's journey. Forward Oh Se-hun, for instance, scored in two consecutive matches prior to the latest draw, while winger Bae Jun-ho has added a goal and two assists in his recent appearances. Both players, with only six international caps each, have seized their opportunities, with Oh starting for the third consecutive match and Bae making a significant impact off the bench. Veteran leadership has also been crucial, particularly from team captain Son Heung-min. After recovering from a hamstring injury that sidelined him in October, the 32-year-old returned to score against Kuwait last week and added another goal against Palestine. This latest goal brings Son's international tally to 51, securing his position as second on South Korea's all-time scoring list, trailing leader Cha Bum-kun by seven goals.
