Tokoname:Nagoya South Korea secured its second consecutive gold medal in the League of Legends (LoL) esports competition at the 2025 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, with star player Lee Sang-hyeok earning his second Asiad gold.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean team, consisting of Lee Sang-hyeok, Choi Woo-je, Kim Geon-woo, Ryu Min-seok, Kim Gun-boo, and Lee Min-hyung, defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0 in the LoL final at Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname.
This victory marks South Korea's continued dominance in the event, having won the inaugural LoL title at the previous Hangzhou Asian Games, where the game was first introduced as a competitive sport.
