Okazaki:South Korea secured its second consecutive Asian Games gold medal in the men's team recurve archery event on Friday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean team, composed of Lee Woo-seok, Kim Je-deok, and Kim Woo-jin, triumphed over India with a set score of 5-1 in the men's team final at the Aichi-Nagoya Asiad. The competition was held at Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Multipurpose Square, located approximately 50 kilometers southeast of Nagoya, the main host city.
Lee and Kim Je-deok had previously clinched the 2023 team gold medal with another teammate, Oh Jin-hyek. Meanwhile, Kim Woo-jin had earlier won the team gold in 2010 and silver with Lee and Oh in 2018.
The men's gold marked South Korea's third archery medal on Friday, adding to the women's team silver and the mixed team bronze.
