Singer Lim Young-woong Donates 200 Million Won to Korea University Medicine

Seoul: Singer Lim Young-woong has made a significant contribution by donating 200 million won (US$132,200) to Korea University Medicine on his birthday. The donation aims to assist low-income patients, as confirmed by the hospital.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Lim, along with his agency, Mulgogi Music, each contributed 100 million won. The donation was made in the name of his dedicated fanbase, "Hero Generation." This act of generosity is part of Lim's annual tradition of marking his birthday with charitable contributions to various causes, including support for the vulnerable, disaster relief, and programs for children and adolescents.

The hospital has announced that the funds will be allocated to cover treatment costs for low-income patients at its Anam, Guro, and Ansan branches. Lim Young-woong's continued commitment to philanthropy highlights his dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
