Seoul: The latest KOSPI 200 closing price list reveals notable fluctuations, with several companies experiencing significant gains and losses. Leading the upward trend, SK recorded a substantial increase in its share price, rising by 14,500 to close at 295,500. Similarly, KPIC saw a notable jump, gaining 12,500 to reach 151,500. Meanwhile, CJ also experienced a positive shift, increasing by 6,600 to close at 186,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies witnessing an upward trajectory include HANMISemi, which gained 4,600 to close at 177,800, and KIWOOM, which rose by 4,500 to reach 322,500. Sanil Electric also saw its share price climb, gaining 4,700 to close at 144,700. Additionally, Samsung F and M Ins and KEPCO KPS both saw increases of 3,000 and 2,000, closing at 479,500 and 53,700 respectively.
Conversely, several companies experienced declines. LGCHEM faced a significant decrease, losing 12,000 to end at 330,500. Hyundai Rotem also saw a notable drop, falling by 9,000 to close at 223,000. Hanwha Ocean experienced a decline of 7,900, closing at 142,000. In technology, NAVER's share price fell by 5,000 to reach 259,500, while L and F dropped by 4,000 to close at 113,300.
Other companies experiencing declines include Samsung SDS, which decreased by 2,000 to end at 180,700, and Korea Aerospace, which saw a reduction of 2,900, closing at 154,400. The list also highlights losses for smaller companies such as LG CNS, which fell by 1,100 to close at 61,800, and SBHC, whose share price decreased by 900 to reach 67,900.
Despite the mixed performance, the KOSPI 200 continues to reflect the dynamic nature of the stock market, with various sectors showing resilience amidst fluctuating economic conditions.
