Paris: Second Vice Finance Minister Huh Chang has embarked on a trip to Paris to participate in a meeting of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the finance ministry announced on Tuesday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Huh will attend the 2026 OECD Ministerial Council Meeting, which is set to begin on Wednesday and continue for two days in France. The Ministry of Finance and Economy stated that the OECD members plan to engage in discussions surrounding industrial policies aimed at promoting open markets, growth, and prosperity during the meeting.
The meeting will be chaired by Finland, with South Korea and New Zealand fulfilling roles as vice chairs. During his time in Paris, Huh is also scheduled to meet with key officials from both the French finance ministry and the central bank to discuss bilateral exchanges.
