Seoul: Seah Besteel Holdings Corp. on Thursday reported its third-quarter net income of 13.7 billion won (US$9.9 million), marking a decline of 56.8 percent from the previous year. The company revealed these figures in a recent regulatory filing, highlighting challenges faced during the July-September period. According to Yonhap News Agency, Seah Besteel Holdings' operating income for the third quarter also saw a notable decrease, falling 40.3 percent on-year to 24.9 billion won. The company's revenue experienced an 8 percent reduction, amounting to 883.5 billion won. Furthermore, the operating profit was 33.6 percent lower than the average estimate provided by a Yonhap Infomax survey, the financial data division of Yonhap News Agency. However, the survey did not provide an estimate for the net profit.
