“Santi” detained, he said he wanted to apologize for causing trouble.

Detaining 'Santi', a suspect who escaped an arrest warrant from Bangkok before being cornered in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The suspect stated that he wanted to apologize. On the day of the incident, he did not intend to hurt anyone. He only wanted to escape. In the case of Mr. Santi, a wanted suspect who entered a citizen's house with a gun before fleeing and being intercepted in Nakhon Ratchasima Province and taken for questioning at Bang Sue Police Station on October 7, this morning (October 9), Bang Sue Police Station investigators and more than 10 police officers took Mr. Santi, 38, to be detained at Ratchada Criminal Court. Upon leaving the cell, Mr. Santi had a normal expression but smiled broadly. Reporters tried to ask if he wanted to apologize to anyone or the police. Mr. Santi said, 'I want to apologize to my family, parents, and everyone who I caused trouble. On the day of the incident, I did not intend to enter anyone's house and did not hurt anyone. I did not intend to shoot back. I shot beca use I wanted to escape.' The police then took him in a van to Ratchada Criminal Court. Initially, the investigator objected to bail because it was a heinous crime and he had fled many times. In addition, the results of the physical examination found drugs in his system. However, before the police took Mr. Santi to be detained, Mr. Santi's guarantor, who had previously provided bail in a case in which Mr. Santi committed a theft in Amnat Charoen Province in 1966, came to Bang Sue Police Station to request the withdrawal of bail in the old case of 105,000 baht because he saw that Mr. Santi had committed a repeat crime in Bangkok, which violated the bail conditions, and there were victims in the case as well. The police recommended that the case be processed at Ratchada Criminal Court. Source: Thai News Agency
