Seoul: Samsung Electronics Co. reclaimed the top spot in the global market for dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) in the fourth quarter last year, data showed Sunday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, data compiled by industry tracker Omdia revealed that Samsung Electronics saw its DRAM sales increase by 40.6 percent on-quarter to US$19.1 billion in the October-December period. This accounted for 36.6 percent of the global market.
SK hynix was another major player in the DRAM market, holding 32.9 percent of the market share in the fourth quarter of 2025. Its sales rose by 25.2 percent on-quarter to $17.2 billion, as noted by Omdia.
