Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced an uptick across various maturities in the morning session of November 13, 2024. The yields on treasury bonds and other financial instruments showed noticeable increases compared to the previous session. According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield rose to 2.874%, marking a 1.9 basis point increase from the previous session's 2.855%. The 2-year treasury bond yield saw a rise of 2.7 basis points, bringing it to 2.964% from 2.937%. Similarly, the 3-year treasury bond yield increased by 2.4 basis points, reaching 2.924% from 2.900%. The 10-year treasury bond yield showed a significant increase of 4.5 basis points, moving to 3.059% from the previous 3.014%. Moreover, the 2-year monetary stabilization bond (MSB) yield increased by 3.0 basis points to 2.974% from 2.944%. The 3-year corporate bond with an AA- rating saw its yield rise by 2.5 basis points, reaching 3.492% compared to the previous session's 3.467%.
