Mr. Montri Lawanchaikul Chief Executive Officer of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP revealed that PTTEP by Future Tech Energy Ventures Company Limited (FTEV) ), which is a subsidiary along with 5 leading alliances from South Korea. and France won the concession block bid and signed the Project Development Agreement and the concession block lease agreement Sub-usufruct Agreement with Hydrogen Oman Company or Hydrom, an agency of the Government of Oman. to receive the right to develop a green hydrogen production project In the concession block Z1-02 for a period of 47 years, the concession block is located in the province of Duqm in the eastern sultanate of Oman. Participating in the development of this large-scale green hydrogen production project This is a milestone for PTTEP in expanding its business towards clean energy. The goal is to produce about 220,000 tons of green hydrogen per year.

The Z1-02 concession block covers an area of approximately 340 square kilometers. Located in Duqum Province, Oman, the joint venture consists of FTEV, a conglomerate from South Korea. Which is a renewable energy (Renewable Energy), with a total capacity of about 5 gigawatts (GW), the development of green hydrogen production plants using such electricity in the production process, both of which will be located in the Z1-02 concession block and Developing a plant that converts hydrogen to liquid green ammonia. for ease of transportation will be located in the Special Economic Development Zone in Du Kum Province It is expected to begin construction in 2027 and start production (Commercial Operations Date) of Green Ammonia in 2030 at the rate of approximately 1.2 million tons per year. Green Ammonia will be exported to South Korea, who is the buyer. The remainder of the green hydrogen will be used within Oman
