Northern italy: Para cross-country skier Kim Yun-ji clinched her fifth medal at the Winter Paralympics in northern Italy on Sunday, triumphing in the cross-country skiing 20-kilometer interval start race. She completed the race in 58 minutes and 23.3 seconds.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the gold medal was Kim's fifth at the Games, establishing a record for the most medals won by a South Korean athlete at a single Olympics, encompassing summer, winter, and Paralympics. Kim made history as the first South Korean woman to capture a Winter Paralympic gold medal by winning the women's individual sitting title in para biathlon. She also secured three additional silver medals during the competition.
