Seoul: Nvidia Corp. will hold a special event in Seoul this month to showcase and introduce its latest artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to local developers, researchers, and industry leaders, the U.S. tech giant said Thursday. The "Nvidia AI Day Seoul" will be held for two days from Nov. 17 at the COEX exhibition hall in southern Seoul.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Nvidia's Deep Learning Institute (DLI) will host a one-day, hands-on workshop on Nov. 17, offering participants an opportunity to experience the company's latest AI technologies in a graphics processing unit (GPU)-accelerated cloud environment and earn an official Nvidia DLI certificate. The workshop will cover the optimization of large language models (LLMs) using Nvidia's NeMo platform for building customized generative AI, model parallelization, and the development and deployment of large-scale neural networks.
On Nov. 18, industry experts will discuss key topics such as sovereign AI, agentic AI, AI factories, industrial AI, robotics, and Nvidia's CUDA-X open-source library. A Q and A session with Nvidia's technology experts will also be held. Nvidia said it plans to share real-world applications of AI in various industrial sectors and in-depth technical insights during the two-day event.
