Sanaa:The country is building a festive atmosphere and promoting public loyalty as it approaches the 81st anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPA) founding, with a series of celebratory events underway.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, one of North Korea's four labor organizations, held a celebration on Wednesday, as reported by the Rodong Sinmun. During a debate session, participants emphasized the importance of stronger party leadership and more rigorous ideological education, as well as the necessity to meet the party's grain production targets.
In addition to these discussions, art events have been organized in anticipation of the October 10 anniversary. The Youth Central Art Propaganda Team performed on Wednesday, coinciding with the opening ceremony of the National Art Exhibition at the Korean Central Art Gallery, attended by party officials and artists.
The Rodong Sinmun also published a front-page article urging readers to uphold the party's history, ideology, and founding spirit. Meanwhile, crowds have been visiting the Party Founding Museum in the capital ahead of the anniversary.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that flower baskets from foreign leaders have begun to arrive, with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un receiving baskets from the presidents of Laos and Palestine, as well as from the corps of military attaches in North Korea.
