Seoul: NCSOFT Corp., a South Korean game developer, on Tuesday reported its 2025 net profit of 347.4 billion won (US$238.3 million), up 269.1 percent from a year earlier.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the year reached 16.1 billion won, marking a significant turnaround from a loss of 109.2 billion won in the previous year. Despite the increase in profit, NCSOFT experienced a decline in annual revenue, which fell by 4.5 percent to 1.5 trillion won.

The results reflect a successful year for NCSOFT in terms of profitability, despite the challenging revenue environment. The increase in net profit and the shift from an operating loss to a profit indicate effective cost management and perhaps strategic shifts in operations or product offerings.
