Riyadh: Naver Corp. announced on Tuesday its participation in a major exhibition in Saudi Arabia, where it highlighted its latest technologies, including artificial intelligence applications for the construction and real estate sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean IT company presented its digital twin, AI, and cloud solutions tailored specifically for Saudi Arabia at Cityscape Global 2025. The exhibition, which began on Monday in Riyadh, will run for four days. This event marks Naver's ongoing efforts to deepen its involvement in Saudi Arabia's rapidly growing urban development sector, which is expanding under the Vision 2030 initiative.

In June, Naver successfully completed the development of digital twin platforms for major cities such as Mecca, Medina, and Jeddah, covering approximately 6,800 square kilometers. This area is about 11 times larger than Seoul and includes data on over 920,000 buildings. The digital twin platforms utilize high-precision 3D modeling to offer a variety of urban planning support features and analytical tools. These tools provide capabilities such as terrain analysis, skyline and sunlight exposure simulations for landscape and view planning, along with real-time verification of building designs.

Kim Yu-won, head of Naver Cloud, expressed the significance of introducing these digital twin platforms to Saudi Arabia, alongside their AI capabilities and smart city solutions. He stated that Naver plans to continue enhancing their platforms in collaboration with Saudi partners and is actively seeking new opportunities for development.
