The National Anti-Corruption Commission has disclosed the assets and liabilities of former senators who left their positions on July 23, 2024, totaling 70 individuals, including General Preecha Chan-o-cha, younger brother of General Prayut Chan-o-cha, former prime minister. General Preecha and his spouse, Mrs. Phongphan, reported total assets of 150,218,837 baht, with total overdraft liabilities of 36,163 baht, divided into General Preecha’s assets of 58,290,212 baht, consisting of 8 deposit accounts worth 51,153,879 baht, investments worth 1,616,985 baht, rights and concessions worth 1,112,224 baht, other assets worth 5.03 million baht, including a semi-automatic pistol worth 30,000 baht, and a set of 6 Benjaphakee amulets worth 5
million baht, with overdraft liabilities of 1,567 baht.

In addition, it reported an annual income of 3,173,830 baht, consisting of 953,816 baht in salary and pension, 1,362,720 baht in salary and meeting allowance, 857,294 baht in interest on cooperative deposits, and 630,000 baht in annual expenses.

As for Ms. Phongphan, she has total assets of 91,928,625 baht, consisting of 9 deposit accounts totaling 55,567,772 baht, 1,000 baht in investments, 7 plots of land in Phitsanulok and Chiang Rai provinces totaling 12.1 million baht, houses and structures totaling 15,640,000 baht, of which a single house in Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province, valued at 15.3 million baht, was stated to have been paid for with the applicant’s money of 6.3 million baht, her spouse’s money of 5.7 million baht, Mr. Pathomphon Chan-o-cha’s money of 3.3 million baht,

Mr. Seri Surananon and Mrs. Rampaiphan, spouses, reported total assets of 589,673,757 baht and debts of 7,236,230 baht, of which 539,786,769 baht belonged to Mr. Seri, consisting of 300,000 baht in cash, 20,707,874 baht in 17 deposit accounts, 1,407,195 baht in investments in shares of various companies and the Lawyers Savings Cooperative of Thailand, 22.2 million baht in loans to Business and Success Co., Ltd. on 19 February 2017, 18 plots of land that were concealed, totaling 461,360,000 baht, 6 houses and structures, 28.1 million baht, vehicles, 3,140,000 baht, rights and concessions, 800,000 baht, and other assets, including gold, gems, jewelry, and dozens of Buddha statues and amulets, whose value cannot be assessed.
